Our Story
Born From a Heart for Families
The Directorate for Specialized Healthcare was founded by caring advocates including the Shapray family dedicated to facilitating advanced breakthroughs on a simple but powerful belief: families facing disabilities deserve access to the most advanced healthcare technologies and treatments.
Our team brings together decades of experience in medical advocacy, rehabilitation, regenerative medicine, and healthcare technology. From Army medics and NIH nurses to expert medical advocates, we've walked alongside hundreds of families to facilitate real breakthroughs.
Through Disability Future, our charitable program, a portion of the Directorate's resources funds guidance and breakthrough access for families who could not otherwise afford this level of care — sustained by the generosity of our sponsors and donors.
